Painting

I started drawing and painting portraiture since my childhood, using graphite pencils, pens, ink or charcoal and taking as models the pictures I saw in magazines and newspapers or performing them by posing of my closest relatives.

Afterwards as I worked in developing countries I learnt to appreciate the variety of expressions on adult and children's faces and to enjoy trying to paint their unspeakable look.

Portraiture have always been a source of continue inspiration for me.

And flowers and vegetal world, as well as some elegant and beautiful animals, are another passion which offers me many hours of pleasure and observation.
